Nice after work run

This morning slept in as usual, but commited myself to run after work. I got off from work at 6 pm. feeling pretty good, maybe because I ate something in college, I asked for permission since I had to solve some things of the monographic and was absent from work for 2 hours, it was a nice change since my work is very monotonous, during that time I ate something, maybe that was the reason that I felt energized afterwork and not feeling pretty hungry as usual. Around 7 p.m. I went out to the conservatory alone, and wanted to do 3 laps but once there I decided to add a lap, since I was feeling pretty good and the enviroment was awesome, a lot of people exercising, kids playing, etc. Felt pretty good and finished the 6.5k in 38:06. Great night for running and felt good! Let the streak continue!!

Finally back

Had not run since Monday, lazyness got in the way, but wanted it to stop it today. I went out today at 10:40 a.m. or so with my brother to the conservatory, He would run early in the morning 10 miles, so this was his second run of the day. We headed out at an easy pace and wanted to do 3 laps but then there we met Luis Garcia, a fellow runner who is a half ironman too. We did 2 extra laps, so We did 5 laps total. The conversation was good and I felt good. Did 7.5k in 46:22, so 6:10 per km pace, slow but I am just bouncing back into things. I hope this is the end of my non running streak.

Catching up

I got to run on Sunday and today, from Thursday to Saturday I was jus lazy. Sunday- 8 a.m. to the conservatory and did 5.5k in 33:15 easy pace. Today ran in the afternoon at 5:20 p.m. with my brother and father to the conservatory, I was off from work so could get out at that time, felt a bit tired but good, did 5.5k in 31:58. So 3 laps to the conservatory. I hope that my consistency improve from now on, because I want to take my running to where it was some time ago.

Random thoughts

I have been pretty absent from running for the last month or so, the inconsistency has beaten me. Today I wanted to get back at it but I threw up 6 times in the mid night till the morning and decided to call it a day and not go to work. I do feel better, but still feel with a sore stomach. I have decided to quit daily mile, and to blog my running only in this blog like when I started. Daily mile is a great way to meet people but you got a lot of pressure too, comparing to the other runners, etc. I have just decided to write for me and the willing people that want to take a look at this blog. I am sure that way my consistency will start to improve, since the only person that is going to motivate me is myself, not other guys runs, or other guy's paces, like it was on dailymile. I really want to start training hard again, but with the work schedule that I have, its kind of difficult, because if I dont do it in the morning, then the run is virtually missed, since no motivation to go out tired past 7 p.m. to run, and when I want to take advantage of some sleep, I cant because I gotta run at 5: a.m. so in the last several days I have opted for more sleep and have neglected the running, but to be honest I miss the running and I want to be back to my old self. On another note today is my girlfriend's birthday, Our anniversary and valentines day, but I am sick so I am not sure if I ll do something out of normal today, though it would be great to just see her and share with her. Good morning run

Yesterday was an off day, amazin!! myself resting? This morning was out at 10:30 a.m. or so to the conservatory, did 5 laps there and finished there for a total of 6.3k in 35:31. Felt good, but accelerated hard for 200s racing with a little kid in a bike, He won! I am in bad shape so could not push anymore. Felt good and the day was beautiful, sunny and shiny!! Have a great Sunday!! Tomorrow I start a serious training, including intervals and tempos, yeah I know that I am in not that kind of shape to add fast stuff without building a base, but I am a stubborn and fast stuff is what keep training interesting and what give you more confidence! Back on the wagon to stay

Today I am off from work so I headed out wih my brother at 10:20 a.m. to the conservatory to do a short run of 3 laps there and back for a total of 5.5k.Conversation was good and I was not huffing and puffing as I feared I would, so felt almost normal, but did not feel pretty good at the beginning, then just got into a good groove. Nice run and I am happy to be back!! Consistency here I come!! Have a great Friday!

Zapping the damn zero

After a week off I am finally back, no excuses, just have been lazy and lack motivation. Today was out to the conservatory at 10:45 a.m.and did 3 laps there at an easy pace, dont even look at the watch today. Was surprised, I thought I was going much slower, did 31:32 for 5.5k, felt good but tired at the same time, I just felt like a novice today. Hope my consistency improve and I ll probably write a post in regards to that later! Have a great Sunday!
