A bit of a rest

I have decided given my shin splints to rest till Sunday, so 1 week off, its better to rest and not to run one day and have to rest the next because the leg bother so much, I ll try exercises to strengthen the calves, thus shins and see what happens, I should not lose a lot of fitness in a week off, I ll continue with my workouts anyway!! Hope this helps!
