"Solid" week for me

Hoy tambien me levante a las 5:30a .m., este es mi 5to dia consecutivo levantandome a las 5:30a.m. No ha sido tan malo, pues he podido meter buenos kms and get the workout done without procrastinating too much.

Hoy sali a correr hacia el mirador a las 6:10 a.m., hoy hice 10k suave , puse el cronometro y no mire reloj hasta el final, to be honest, este run no fue tan divertido, felt good till half way (5k), felt like crap the last 3 kms, pretty tired and feeling the "high" mileage of the week. Termine los 10k en 54:08, 8 seconds slower than yesterday, y hoy creia que llevaba un paso de 52-53 mins, porque el paso creia que era mas vivo y puje un poco el paso al final, it seems that i am pretty tired of the week. Lo unico que me gusto de este run fue haber terminado. Hubieron 3 cosas que no me gustaron:

1) the finishing time given the effort that i was giving, i was not pushing the pace too much, but certainly pushing it more than yesterday.
2) Un corredor me dijo que estaba engordando, me han dicho lo mismo en los pasados 3 dias, no me molestaba al principio, eso ya empieza a incomodarme.
3) Los malditos perros sueltos, el caso de hoy fue 2 pastores alemanes mas grandes que mi cama, uno estaba suelto en el mirador como 20m atras del duenio( que irresponsabilidad), y otro faltando como 700m para llegar a aqui, tambien suelto,it is just frustrating.

All in all, a nice week of training, i am getting back with the consistency and morning runs are been able to just allow me that, being consistent and not procrastinate, gotta keep at it.

La termperatura , tanto ayer como hoy estaban bastante caliente aunque haya sido temprano en la manana, nada comparado con la tarde though, pero antes del km 2 yo estaba sudando, y eso es cosa rara en la manana due to the "Good" temperature.

In regards to the calves, they bothered me but not even close as the bothered me yesterday, se supone que hoy me tenian que doler mas que ayer, pero hoy me dolieron significantemente menos que ayer, espero que con el dia de descanso de manana, on Tuesday i will come back with little or no load in the calves.

Runs this week: 6 runs, tenia muchos sin hacer 6 runs a week, but need to continue with this if i want to run well.

Kilometraje semanal: Around 50.5 kms. Not great, but not bad either considering the poor mileage that i have been doing, this is the double of the kilometraje of the past 2 weeks, and 15 more kms of the past week. Had a chat with Nate Jenkins and he suggested that i should increase the mileage slow no matter if in december i managed to do 40-45 miles a week. so the next 2 weeks will be around 50-56 kms , then build from there. I am very happy with this week and the motivation and discipline that have gotten myself out of bed in the past 5 straight days.

Tomorrow is a rest day.
